Sharon Norman Obituary

Sharon Denise “Sherry” Eller was born at 6:02 AM on October 29, 1962, at Iredell Memorial
Hospital in Statesville, NC. Her parents were James Ronald “Ronnie” Eller and Frankie Eller,
both of Statesville. Being raised in Iredell County, she attended schools within the Iredell County
School District. In the early 1980’s, she became mother to two children, Amber, and Eric, whom
she loved with all her heart.
As a public display of her devotion to her God, Jehovah, and for appreciation of the ransom
sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 25,
1987.
On November 12, 1994, she married the man she considered the love of her life, Todd Aaron
Norman of Troutman, NC. They remained faithfully devoted to one another for the last 29 years
of her life.
She preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her husband, her daughter
and son-in-law Amber and Marcos Varela of Simpsonville, SC, and her son and daughter-in-law
and Eric Carrillo and Moudi Aljohani of Raleigh, NC. There are also five grandchildren:
Christina, Marisol, and Marcos Varela, and Ethan and Everett Carrillo. Additionally, she is
survived by her sister and brother-in-law Kimberly and Jeff Humble of Statesville along with
extended family consisting of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall
of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 318 James Farm Rd., Statesville, NC 28625. Donald Moore of the
West Statesville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses will provide the memorial service
discourse.
