Calcutta, India to the late Sibananda P. and Shakuntala (Gupta) Saha. He adored his wife, Saroj “Susie”
(Patel) Saha. Kris worked hard while raising a family. He and his wife explored the world, made friends
along the way, and had many wonderful adventures during their 56 years together. Kris loved his family
and friends dearly and he expressed this love through rich conversations on a wide range of topics. He
was an avid photographer, reader, philosopher, and public speaker. Kris never hesitated to help others
by sharing the wisdom he gained from a life of challenges and opportunities.
Kris is survived by his loving wife, Saroj Saha; his daughter Lori Saha; and his son Sanjay Saha.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister and his most beloved dog,
Biscuit. Kris loved Biscuit as one of his own children and often referenced her as such to everyone he
spoke with.
